Prime Languages : Project overview

Prime Languages already had a website set up, however it was built on a platform that wasn't flexible enough to grow with their company. We built a brand new database driven website that not only looks great but saves Prime Languages time and money by automating tasks and processes.

How we helped on this project

For this project we provided front end development, back end development and database design. We also advised on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), server setup and online security.

User database, search & management system

Prime Languages manage hundreds of linguists from all over the world. To help them manage their linguists, we designed an online application system that's used to capture all the required details from each linguist.

When Prime Languages need a linguist, they simply search the database with the required criteria and a list of suitable linguists is returned.

XHTML Layouts with Olio CMS

With complex page layouts and lots of information to display, Prime Languages needed a powerful and flexible Content Management System (CMS). Our custom built CMS was perfect for the job, now it powers the public facing side of the Prime Languages website.

Linguist login facility

Having a large database of linguists isn't much use if the information isn't kept up to date. To help take the administration overhead off of Prime Languages staff, each linguist has an online account. By logging in with their email and password, they're able to update their personal details, linguistic services, rates and more.
